Plenty of Clichés can be written about a young phenomenon like Billie Eilish, but maybe it might be enough to mention that in 2021, at the age of 20, she has joined the likes of Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Nancy Sinatra, Paul McCartney, Carly Simon, Sheena Easton, Rita Coolidge, Duran Duran, Gladys Knight, Tina, Turner, Sheryl Crow, Madonna, Chris Cornell and Adelle in singing the James Bond theme in the movie "Time to die".
By that time, Eilish was already an international star, having started her career, and fame, at the age of 15 years old, as she has uploaded her first songs on a cloud and they have gained several hundreds of thousands listening.
Eilish released her debut album, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" in 2019 and it has just exploded, winning her three Grammy Awards in 2020, including album of the year, best pop vocal album and best engineered album, non-classical. The album has peaked at No. 1 at 15 countries. Up to date, the album has sold around 1.8 million copies worldwide.
Two years earlier, carried on several songs and EP's released, Eilish has embarked on her first tour, "Don't Smile at Me Tour", with stops in the United States and Canada.
Since, Eilish has released two more studio albums: "Happier Than Ever" (2021) and "Hit Me Hard and Soft" (2024), both to critical and commercial success, although they did not reach the sales number as the first album.
Eilish has gone on seven tours. The Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour, which will be played in 2024 and 2025, will kick off in September in Quebec City, Canada, and will cover North America until the end of the year, before a move to Australia for the start of 2025 and Europe. The tour's final act will be in Dublin, Ireland, in July, and some of the dates of 2025 are already sold out.
